Chat to a PDF
"The length of this document defends it well against the risk of its being read..." - Winston Churchill
We’ve already taken a look at how to swiftly summarise Youtube videos using ChatGPT right here on a.icebreakers.
In real estate, we deal with a lot of written data, from reports to market updates to contracts, agreements and more.
So why not use ChatGPT to summarise those for us as well…
Today’s Tool of the Day
Winston Churchill need not have worried if he had access to this: It’s a pretty cool tool I had a play with this morning called pdfgpt.io.
What you can do is drop any PDF onto the blue button and it will analyse it and allow you to ask questions.
Here is a sample rental report I uploaded from Proptrack:
The report, depending on size, takes seconds to upload and once you hit the ‘OK’ button, you can begin to ‘chat’ to the report.
This whole thing is a bit of a game-changer for the real estate industry - the sort of change we saw when home searching online became a thing.
This is next-level transparency when you can ‘chat’ to all sorts of PDF documents - tenancy agreements, management agreements, mortgage agreements, contracts for sale (any special clauses?), legislation, data reports, employment agreements, and more.
So, it’s more important than ever to be clear on the value you provide to the consumer (and your team) over and above the regular info.
For my paid subscribers (as always thank you!) there is a 9-minute video below demo-ing the PDFGPT tool so you can see how powerful and how much of a game-changer this type of application is (I am sure there will be more tools like this coming soon!)
Happy Hunting 🚀
