How many of you went back to work today?
I did, and it wasn’t easy!
I shuffled papers from side to side, answered a few emails (easy ones!) and stared at my screen for a while.
I know what I want to do, but what do do first…
So I thought I might start this year easy too, and get you all back on the tools with some quick wins.
But before I do I want to reassure you all that you’re in the right place.
On the weekend, I saw a tweet from a guy by the name of Dr Jim Fan. The name might not mean a great deal, but he is a pretty big deal - he’s the Senior Research Scientist at NVIDIA who supplies the hardware and software that many of the AI tools we use run on. He was also Intern #1 at OpenAI.
Anyway, according to Dr Jim, at this moment in time, we’re on the exponential part of the curve in 2024, and it’s going to be epic:
So folks it’s likely to be another wild ride in AI and I’m glad we’re doing it together.
The Art of Brainstorming
Brainstorming for me used to always be pen and paper, and sometimes still is. I like to get old school and write things down.
With a clear head, no distractions and plenty of focus it’s amazing what can come out.
But we don’t know what we don’t know.
So, this post is about brainstorming because I believe that tools like ChatGPT give you an extra brain which you can deploy anytime, anywhere.
And let’s face it the beginning of a new year is a great time to brainstorm new ideas!
Here’s a small list
Marketing Ideas: Brainstorm marketing ideas - for events, lead magnets, social media, newsletters and blog content.
Social Media Strategies: Brainstorm ideas for presenting content across different social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
Ideal client: Leverage a large language model to find your ideal client, and brainstorm their pain points and their needs. Use these client ‘personas’ to target particular demographics with Facebook and Google Ads
Partnerships: As above, but this time looking for ideal referral partners or joint ventures that may prove valuable over the next 12 months and beyond.
Keyword Research: Brainstorm some new keywords for your SEO strategies, saving time and effort (and helping get more traffic to your website).
